How we support your school and your students

Unlike other companies, we work with you to identify and provide the best solutions to meet the needs of your students and their families. We recognize that every student situation is unique, so we work hard to deliver personalized products that work for student borrowers. 

We believe in providing student loan options so students can be confident in their decision when looking for ways to pay for college. 

WE OFFER:

    • We lean on our 30+ years of data to offer the most competitive student loan options

    • Fixed Rates: 4.24%  − 14.02% APR 5/6

    • Variable Rates: 5.46%  − 14.92% APR 5/6

    • We offer a faster rate reduction than any other student loan provider

    • 2% Grad Reward

    • 0.25% rate reduction when a student signs up for autopay

    • 0.05% rate reduction for every six months of consecutive, on-time pay

    • We provide a variety of repayment options, including:

      • In-school full interest and principal payments

      • Interest only or low, flat monthly payments 

      • Deferred or full deferment 

    • Students can also select from five loan terms: 5, 7, 10, 15 or 20 years

    • Students can pause payments if:

      • It takes them time to find a job after graduation

      • They are diagnosed with a serious illness or take FMLA

      • A natural disaster disrupts their lives

      • They are hit with unexpected financial hardship and need time to get back on their feet

    • Getting started is free

    • Students can pay up to 100% of qualified expenses

    • No application fees, origination fees, late payment fees, forbearance fees, or fees to pay by debit card

    • Your students can enter monthly for a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship  

    • The award can be used for books, supplies, or whatever they may need for school  

    • A new scholarship is awarded every month, and students can come back and enter at any time

Kathleen Roebuck
Regional Manager, Southeast

Kathleen serves as the Regional Manager in the Southeast Region. Her career in Higher Education has included working at colleges in Massachusetts in both admissions and financial aid offices including Bay Path University, Clark University Mount Holyoke College, and Springfield College. She also worked in at Financial Aid TV for 10 years as VP of School Partnerships. She lives in MA with her family.

Mark Riggs
Regional Manager, Midwest/PA

Mark joined Monogram with over 20 years of experience in financial services and more than a decade in higher education. Prior to Monogram, Mark worked at SoFi. He received his BA from the University of Delaware, and MBA from Goldey-Beacom College.

Meet the Team

Julie Lawton
Regional Manager, Northeast

Julie has extensive experience in the financial aid industry and has been with Monogram for 13 years. She has worked in multiple financial aid offices in Massachusetts and currently serves on several financial aid association committees and boards. She enjoys presenting at conferences and financial aid staff training events. She received her BA from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

Holly Johnson
Regional Manager, West

Holly is a seasoned business development leader within the private student lending industry. Based in Seattle, she brings more than 30 years of dedicated experience to her role at Monogram. Prior to Monogram, Holly worked at Discover Student Loans and Citizens Bank. Her career is characterized by a deep commitment to helping students and families navigate their financial journey successfully through empathy and understanding.

Lisa Albers
National Manager

Lisa is an experienced national sales manager who has worked for Monogram for 13 years. She built her career within the financial services industry. Prior to Monogram, Lisa spent 24 years at Bank One/JP Morgan Chase in the student loan division. Lisa received her BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
